Commitment and Culture at Modular

The Modular Festival is organised by the Stadtjugendring Augsburg (SJR) and supported by the City of Augsburg. We attended in 2022 and got a sense of the volunteers’ work.
The festival is not only a meeting place for young people, but also an important part of Augsburg’s cultural scene: with live music, art installations, performances and creative workshops, Modular creates a space for contemporary youth culture and innovative forms of expression.

Art and culture in the countryside – Other offers in the Augsburg and Aichach-Friedberg districts

Culture lovers will find plenty to enjoy not only in the city, but also in rural areas. Various theatres and venues open their doors to professional performers, cabaret artists, musicians and local clubs, all of whom put on a wide variety of programmes.
