The shortage of skilled workers poses major challenges for many companies \u2013 including the Boden law firm in Landsberg am Lech. Lawyer Petra Boden was urgently seeking a legal assistant, but suitable candidates were hard to find on the labour market.<\/p>

A solution emerged through collaboration with WBS TRAINING. This training provider supports people through targeted further training programmes, helping them to develop new career prospects and gain qualifications for in-demand roles.<\/p>

Lisa V\u00f6gele, aged 31 and a mother of two, had originally completed an apprenticeship as a retail sales assistant. After the birth of her second child, she was initially unable to find suitable career prospects and was unemployed. Through the Jobcentre, she was eventually given the opportunity to undertake further training as an office manager at WBS TRAINING using a training voucher.<\/p>

At the same time, Petra Boden, a solicitor from Landsberg am Lech, was urgently looking for a legal assistant. However, due to the shortage of skilled workers, her search proved unsuccessful. She received support from Tanja Pelz-Straub, client relations officer at WBS TRAINING, who put her in touch with Lisa V\u00f6gele \u2013 whilst Lisa was still undertaking her training.<\/p>

An internship at the law firm during her training quickly showed that she was a good fit both professionally and personally: Lisa V\u00f6gele impressed with her commitment and her skills. After successfully completing her training, she was able to start working at the firm straight away as a career changer.<\/p>
